About Estill Voice Training™
Founded by Jo Estill in 1988, Estill Voice Training™ is an innovative system for developing masterful control of the human voice. It offers a clear and concise vocabulary for describing what voices can do and powerful exercises that allow voices to realize their full potential – be it for better speaking or for better singing. Estill Voice Training™ grew out of ground-breaking research into singing. Because Estill Voice Training™ has no aesthetic or cultural biases, its common sense approach can be used by any voice, for any purpose, in any setting.
Estill Voice Training™ Level 2
In Level Two, you will learn to combine the above Figures for Voice™ to create various voice qualities including Estill's Six Basic Voice Qualities: Speech, Falsetto, Twang, Sob, Opera, Belt. These qualities are archetypes for many voice qualities heard round the world in both the singing and singing voice and provide a springboard for vocal versatility and vocal problem solving. Successful completion of Estill Voice Training™ Level 1 in Weimar or elsewhere is a prerequisite for registering for this workshop. It is possible to participate in this workshop directly after completing Estill Voice Training™ Level 1 during Winter Edition 2011.
